Our lab was opened in 2023 and conducts special research, including histology, biochemistry, immunology, and oncology. We focus on studying a wide range of inflammatory diseases and the mechanisms through which inflammation induces these conditions. Based on our findings, we aim to identify and validate potential therapeutic candidates. This research is primarily carried out using animal models to better understand the pathophysiology of diseases and evaluate possible treatments.

We are currently collaborating closely with prestigious institutions such as Harvard Medical School and various universities in Korea, working together to uncover the underlying causes of complex diseases and develop effective therapeutic strategies.

본 연구실은 2023년에 오픈하여 조직학, 생화학, 면역학, 종양학 등 종양면역 전반에 걸친 융합 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 다양한 염증 반응 및 염증으로 유도되는 질환들을 심층적으로 분석하고, 이를 기반으로 치료제 후보 물질을 발굴 및 검증하는 데 집중하고 있습니다. 이러한 연구는 주로 동물모델을 활용하여 질병의 병태생리적 메커니즘을 규명하고, 치료 가능성을 평가하는 방향으로 진행됩니다.

현재 하버드 의과대학을 비롯한 국내외 유수의 대학 및 연구기관 들과의 긴밀한 공동연구를 통해, 복잡한 질병의 원인을 밝히고 궁극적인 치료 전략을 개발하는 것을 목표로 하고 있습니다.
